PEORIA, Ill. – The Mississippi RiverKings (20-13-2) opened the weekend road trip with a loss to the Peoria Rivermen (18-6-7) by the score of 4-2 Friday night at the Peoria Civic Center.

Olivieri scored again on a one-timer from the blue line at 17:09. Peoria took a 3-2 lead into the second intermission.

A power play goal by Olivieri at 4:11 of the third period gave him a hat trick, extending the Rivermen lead to 4-2. Mississippi played with an extra attacker for over a minute but were unable to score again. Peoria earned their fourth win over Mississippi in seven games this season.
