Power Play propels RiverKings past FireAntz

FAYETTEVILLE, NC  -- The Mississippi RiverKings (3-1-0) tallied two unanswered power play goals late in the second period as they earned a weekend split with a 4-2 victory over the Fayetteville FireAntz (3-1-0) on Saturday night in Fayetteville. The teams traded goals within nine seconds of each other in the opening frame. RiverKings add Moran to roster

SOUTHAVEN, Miss.  -- Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced that the team has signed formward Mike Moran to a contract. Terms and conditions were not released. Moran, 25, joins the RiverKings after a four-year career at Boston University (Hockey East). RiverKings Sign Jack Murphy to Prospect Contract

RiverKings Partner with Craigmont High to Help Restore Planetarium

Southaven, MS  – The Mississippi RiverKings are partnering with Craigmont High School in Memphis for a fundraising project to restore Craigmont’s on-campus planetarium.  Because of outdated equipment, the planetarium has been non-operational since 2010.  Current Craigmont Principal Dr. Tisha Durrah has been working to restore the planetarium since coming to the school in 2015.  A GoFundMe campaign was started earlier this year, but has since yielded little... RiverKings Win Second Game of Season

Evansville, Ind. – The RiverKings (2-0-0 4Pts) won Saturday night to win their second game of the season against the Evansville Thunderbolts (0-1-1 1Pts) 4-3 in a shootout at the Ford Center.
