RiverKings double up Cottonmouths, 6-3

COLUMBUS, Ga. –  The Mississippi RiverKings (2-1-0) scored five goals over the final two periods to double up the Columbus Cottonmouths (0-2-1), 6-3, at the Columbus Civic Center Friday night.  The Cottonmouths grabbed the lead at 5:33 into the first period when Kyle Brodie scored on a deflection on a left point shot, getting it past Peter Di Salvo for a 1-0 lead. RiverKings sign defenseman Ian Young

RiverThing participates in AFSP Out of the Darkness Walk

MEMPHIS, Tenn. –  Mississippi RiverKings mascot, RiverThing, participated in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) Out of the Darkness community walk on Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Memphis Botanic Gardens. RiverKings shutout in 2015-16 season opener

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. –  The Mississippi RiverKings (0-1-0) opened their 24th season of hockey with a 2-0 loss to the Louisiana IceGators (1-0-0) Friday night at the Landers Center.
