Former NFL star to appear at RiverKings game

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- The Mississippi RiverKings announced today that former Memphis Tiger and NFL wide receiver Isaac Bruce will appear at the RiverKings game Saturday December 13 when they face the Pensacola Ice Flyers. Bruce will be available for photographs with fans during the game. There will also be a VIP meet and greet with Bruce before the game. Ticket information for that will be available at a later date. Brandon Nowakowski signs with RiverKings

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced today that the Mississippi RiverKings have signed forward Brandon Nowakowski. Terms and conditions were not released. Nowakowski, 25, is in his rookie season and was on the RiverKings training camp roster. Old Style Bar-B-Q to host watch parties

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- The Knoxville Ice Bears (2-0-0-0) scored four unanswered goals in the final two periods to defeat the Mississippi RiverKings (0-2-0-0), 5-1, Saturday night at the Landers Center.
