Part-Time Employment

Mascot Performer

The Mississippi RiverKings seek a part-time Mascot Performer. The RiverKings, the Mid-South's longest continuously operating professional franchise, celebrate their 26th season in October.

Position Title:
Mascot Performer

Reports to:
Game Operations Coordinator

Qualifications:
An ideal candidate will (be)
- Work well under tight deadlines
- Able to improvise
- Work in a team environment to provide family-friendly entertainment
- Under 5' 10" preferred

Responsibilities will include:
- Direct and indirect interaction with fans
- On-ice performances during pre-game, timeouts, and/or intermissions
- Appearances at all RiverKings home games (including pre- and post-season)
- Appearances at Kids' Club parties and other pre-game events

Compensation:
This is a part-time, paid position.

Game Day Volunteers

We are always looking for game-day volunteers to assist with game operations and other in-game activities. To be considered for a future position, please email david@riverkings.com. Below are our current needs.

Promo Team

The Mississippi RiverKings seek part-time, unpaid Promo Team Members. The RiverKings, the longest running sports franchise in the Mid-South, celebrate their 26th season of play in October.

Position Title:
Promo Team Member

Reports to:
Game Operations Coordinator

Qualifications:
An ideal candidate will (be):
- Able to work in a group setting
- Have an outgoing personality and not afraid of large crowds
- Able to attend most home games

Responsibilities will include:
- Interact with the crowd
- Throw out t-shirts, other items
- Facilitate on-ice promotions
- (Skating is a plus but not a requirement)

Compensation:
This is a volunteer position.

Off-Ice Officials

The Mississippi RiverKings seek part-time, unpaid Off-Ice Officials. The RiverKings, the longest running sports franchise in the Mid-South, celebrate their 26th season of play in October.

Position Title:
Off-Ice Official

Qualifications:
An ideal candidate will (be):
- Able to work in a group setting
- Have general knowledge of hockey statistics
- Able to attend most home games

Responsibilities will include:
- Working the penalty boxes during games
- Goal judge
- Counting shots
- Keeping track of goals and assists

Compensation:
This is a volunteer position.
